Overview of the programme

The SICOM Graduate Scheme is tailored for inquisitive minds who are eager to explore and excel in the financial services sector. This programme is designed to support individuals from diverse academic backgrounds with minimal or no previous working experience and will provide selected candidates with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and invaluable industry insights.

Participants will benefit from personalized coaching, designed to support passionate individuals be equipped with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in the financial services industry.


At least a 2:2 undergraduate degree from a recognised university in one or more of the following fields:
- Law
- Finance
- Actuarial
- Software Engineering/Cybersecurity/Artificial Intelligence/Computer Science
- Data Analytics
- Mathematics
- Economics
- Business Studies
- Communications
- Marketing
- HR
- Engineering/Sustainability
- Medical Science or related field

Sales Executive

Job Purpose

Identify business prospects to promote and market the Group’s product and services, and build and maintain relationships with prospective/existing clients 

Key Responsibilities

  • To prospect and market the Group’s products and services and refer leads to the respective Business Units.
  • To develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
  • To conduct one-on-one/group presentations to potential customers.
  • To generate leads from various sources.
  • To identify business opportunities and prospects.
  • To participate in road shows, fairs, open days, marketing campaigns and other public image building events.
  • To disseminate digital services to customers.
  • To perform administrative/ office related tasks, and any other cognate duties.

Skills required

  • Ability to build a strong customer network
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
  • Ability to meet sales goals
  • Customer service oriented
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Good Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills


  • School Certificate with at least a 'Pass' in no less than 5 subjects, including English Language and French
  • Computer literate and comfortable with basic Office software and tools, e.g. Word, Excel, etc..
  • Higher Qualifications/ Diploma in any business-related fields will be an advantage
